This mixed media collage is about the negative words people have said to me throughout my life, just because I have a learning disability. The words painted with oil paint and crossed off on the left are meant to represent the negative words people said to me. While the words on the right are meant to represent the positive things people have said to me. Over time, I have strived to try to ignore and not cater to the negativity which has grown my self-esteem about who i am with my learning difference.
